TTF Needs Your Help
Positions:
JUDGES (1 to 3 for each area)
At TTF, we hope to create an environment where teens can further their experience in the arts by friendly competitions in their areas. The photo contest is up and running, with three judges, but we still need judges in the areas of Art, Dance, and Music!
As a judge, you will be expected to spend about an hour a day (for just the week after submissions are due) looking through submissions and agreeing on the best TEN with your other judges, then the best FIVE, then the best THREE--in order of first, second, and third.
It will be up to you and your companions to figure out a way of communication best suited to the needs of the others and how the competition will work. You will also have to submit reports to your group leader, who will compile them and submit them to the editor.
QUALITIES: A jugde must have a superior knowledge about the area, discipline, determination, and dedication
DIRECTOR OF FUNCTIONS (1)
To put it simply, there needs to be someone who can come up with new, fresh ideas and be able to provide insight on adding them to the site.
COLUMNIST (1 per area)
Because there needs to be more than just contests on this site, we need some news columns on what's going in on in certain fields--kind of like modern happenings. The columnist needs to be very up in the area-aspect happenings--this means not listing the drama, but what is actually happening in the world of art, music, dance, or photography.
For instance, in the music column, we don't want to know about the drama in all the stars life--we just want to know So-and-So just released their new album, with Such-and-Such site giving them 5/5 stars! (It would also be great if we could have our columnist listen to about 15 seconds of each song on each album and give their OWN rating!)
Of course, we also want things like, "in the broadway world, So-and-So will be Dorothy in the newest rendition of Wizard of Oz...you can buy tickets blah blah blah."

If I am chosen, will I be paid?
No. The site is run completely by volunteers--firstly because there is no one who can pay these good people and secondly because it makes the work more meaningful; also, donations are accepted and go towards the website, not the workers.
